You have two options for transferring content from your existing website to your central knowledge database:
1. Web Crawler
Import specific content from individual web pages by providing the URL. The AI scans the specified page, identifies relevant content, and automatically creates question-answer pairs. These are stored in your knowledge database and can subsequently be individually reviewed and edited.
Website crawling is a one-time import.
Changes to the original page are not automatically adopted.
Please note that entries are automatically stored in the folder where the URL import was initiated. To avoid losing track with larger amounts of data, we recommend creating a separate folder for each import.
2. Web Sync
If the function is not available in your Automation Hub menu, please contact our support.
With Website Sync, you permanently link your entire website with all subpages to your knowledge database (individual URLs are also possible). If you change content on the synchronized pages: changes are automatically adopted every 24 hours, ensuring the chatbot always has access to current information.
Unlike crawling, sync does not create a question-answer structure
in the database. This eliminates the possibility to check and edit entries.
